a june morning

its been months

 since i got off the train

 left the subway 

at chambers street 

i've been walking underground

 from the park place stop

avoiding 

wet/cold weather 

now

 i admit 

chambers

 isnt 

the prettiest street 

but

 there's a starbucks 

and

who can resist an iced latte on a lovely june morning

not me
