  1. I think only craft stores should be allowed to sell any holiday items early! When in the US in November, even October, I sometimes don't like to go into department stores that have Christmas decorations up.

  2. I noticed the Christmas stuff a couple of weeks ago -- *before* Halloween. Sigh.

  4. Indeed it does!
The Christmas things here started appearing at the same time as the Halloween things.
Little by little, bit by bit, but about 2 weeks ago, out came the fully decorated trees, and ads about PRE Black Friday sales.
    Gets earlier every year.
Thank you for the Tuesday smiles, Toonman!

  5. ahh similar comment on my blog! I do agree the stores have the trees up a bit too soon. I love Nordstrom they do not decorate for holidays until after Thanksgiving, like in the olden days. Have a great day!!

  6. Nordstrom doesn't put up ANY holiday decoration until Nov. 27. I LIKE that!

  7. I spent 3 days in Atlantic City about 2 weeks ago and they had a Christmas tree in one of the casino store windows...ugh! I've grown to dislike this time of year...the stress, the catalogs, the speeding cars (wait a minute...I feel a blog coming on!). Anyway, I have 'met' Suldog and am feeling much better! LOL
