I share your fascination with windows... these might have a story to tell..
I'll bet these places are very cool inside too.
The entire building beautiful. Would be fun to go inside. See what treasures live in there.
I love the reflections in the windows.
If the interior is as detailed as the exterior, it must be magnificent! What do you think - 14 foot ceilings?
Wouldn't you love to go inside and take a look around. Back in the day, ex hubby worked on some old apartment buildings here. He was under strick orders to call me if he was working on a vacant one that I would want to see.
I like the arches! I'm a big fan of them.<><
Reminds me of all the tall windows in Paris. Sigh. Great great shot D.V
I love any architecture photos - love the windows!
there are so many place in Manhattan that I would just love to take a look at from the inside & this is one of them.
I like how the uppers are slightly out of line with the lowers. I also love where your sig shows up!
I note that the bottom left hand window is bigger than the other two. I wonder why? I'm also wondering where in the building the bottom windows are that they need such heavy fortification. btw - have you heard from Den Mother at all?
Perfect choice for the Three on Thursday. The one on the bottom left is bigger than the other two. Wonder what that means.
Architecture has always fascinated me, and this picture does not disappoint. The lower window on the left must be in the center of the building, or perhaps the center of a group of windows? It's wider, taller, has a larger keystone, and is surrounded by wider, more ornate blocks.Very nice blog!
Double triplets sounds like a new reality TV show. They're beautiful windows.
I also love windows and doors and collect photos of them. I love yours.PS I got the Ipad connector for the tv. You can rent a movie from Itunes for $2.99 and play it on the tv. You can also look at your photos from the Ipad.
