  13. What it looks like to me is that the church has installed a protective outer window of plastic material in order to protect the stained glass from vandalism. From inside, it probably looks wonderful.

    (I say this because I know many Catholic churches in the Boston area have done that. Although I don't recall anyone hucking rocks through lovely stained glass, I'm sure it's a requirement of some insurance companies before the building can be insured. A shame, as it takes away from the beauty, but perhaps it gets more folks inside to look?)
