I'm not a city person, and while I enjoy visiting, cannot imagine living there every day. But this is a lovely street scene. I can imagine life on a street like this. Maybe.
I really like that big bay window in the background! I often think of the city as being so much concrete - so it is nice to see the flowers and trees along the street.Take care.
They should show that face NYC more often - thanks for this one,Daryl.
THe colours of autumn are very pretty...My garden is orange... Smile !Nice photo, DaryL !
You keep showing me pictures of a New York I've never seen before. This is hardly a stereotypical scene.Absolutely lovely.
Proof again that NYC is not dirty, it's all in your perspective. *sigh* It's looking good.
I love autumn leaves. Ours are falling much too quickly here in MD.Peace - D
Very pretty! I had some great photos of the beautiful orange leaves on trees around me, but my mobile broke, and I lost everything. I've just got a replacement, but all the leaves have just about fallen now!
It must have been warm last Saturday, I notice everyone in short sleeves.Bear((( )))
I love fall.:)
And pretty mums!
I feel like I am right there on the street with you....
you truly do so much for NYC's image!!the little yellow mums are lovely and once again you caught a piece of light and the way it shines on the tree and made it shine even more.
Our leaves are just starting to run also. The flowers are beautiful in this shot!
Beautiful leaves and a beautiful sky. I love this season for it's colour and crispness.
What a stunning seasonal street scene. I love the alliteration of yellow (can you say that about colour?). The yellow of the tree, highlighted by sunlight, repeated in the successive beds of yellow flowers ultimately leading the eye to the yellow awning, punctuated by the yellow signs.
Just beautiful, Daryl. It's a brilliantly sunny day here and the autumn colours are gorgeous! I noticed your October is breast cancer awareness month - my older sister had a mastectomy 2 years ago and my younger sister had 3 lumps discovered through her mammogram this month and I'm going for mine next week. God, what a terrible disease!
Ah...New York in the fall! You are a lucky girl.
Glorious! Have you heard Eva Cassidy singing "Autumn Leaves"? Such a beautiful song!
Some lovely mellow yellow in NYC! And here I thought the only yellow in NYC was cabs! (just kidding)
Fabulous photos of NYC's Fall! Too bad fall doesn't last longer than winter!
Not too many leaves turning here in Texas yet.You are a great ambassador for NYC.Great photo. Do ya'll drive to the country for the fall colors?Come visit anytime,Troy and MarthaPS: Alaska Sunday, Hope, AK is posted..
