I got the music going around in my head now! grrr.Good shot. (Odd to have gum busters and breast cancer awareness week together, but glad they advertise it!)
Hello DaryL !You are always cute photo...This one in B&W is so pretty !See You later.
Ah, something to chew over.
What a unique sort of business. I sould have never thought of it.
Thank you for inserting that song so neatly into my cranium. I'll sleep well with that one running circles in my head. NOT.Cool picture, though. :)
We could do with that in the UK. Gumbusters beat cancer would do for me.Fabulous odd mono.
Only in NYC comes to mind! LOL
Great catch! Lol
As Cindy Adams says: Only in New York.
Hey this is so cool I didn't know there is such a profession going on :)But you know what?? They are gonna be out of job if they are here coz chewing gum is ban in Singapore ;(
That's hilarious. I've never seen a gum buster although I needed one when I used to have my daughter's friends over when she was growing up. That's works great in monochrome.
I love that shot! Love some of the comments, too. I wonder what would happen if gum was banned here? Riots in the street, I expect.
What a great idea. I should alert our mayor so they could come to our town. I hate the gum all over the sidewalks here. It amazes me that people just spit their gum out when they are done with it instead of properly disposing of it.Thanks to them & you for joining in on Breast Cancer Awareness as well.Glad to have found your blog too!
I think this is hysterical! Never heard of such a company. What an ingenious idea.
You know Daryl. This is so needed, and really quite crazy~that we NEED this kind of business! I get so aggrivated when I step on a piece of gum~YUK!!Way to go guys!
Now that is odd. never seen anthing like it before. Well spotted.
I can just imagine the sort of reaction he'd get even suggesting such a business out here... lol
Now that's a sticky wicket! Only in NYC! I wonder who their biggest customers are? I would think stadiums, schools, and theaters. Peace - D
Lol at the comments... I was thinking only in NYC, also... but, hey... maybe in LA, too ;-)Thanks, for the song, too ;-p
I wonder if they do hair, too?!
I love all your pink accents, the tags the header, so cool.I love U-Got-Gum!!Oprah bans gum chewing anywhere on any Harpo premises. Can't say I blame her - those flattened down black blobs are everywhere are are disgusting.
Gotta say... I never saw this one gumming! You really can find anything in NYC can't you?
very interesting. I'd hate to have that job, though. Great shot, as usual
Amazing what people can make a business out of!
Only in New York City!
How enterprising is that? LOL
Oh wow! Hahahahaha there is a whole industry for this one? I didn't know! Hahahahaha! Thanks for taking pic of this truck! Nice shot!
Noooooo Waaaayyyyy! That is hilarious!
Well, someone's got to do it.
You got me chuckling here! What a great shot to combine MM and Oddshots! Good job, Daryl. :D
Great catch! Have never seen anything like it before.
A great monochromatic odd shot. I wonder if they get gum out of hair--that used to happen to my kids. How it happened I don't really want to know.
they are *specialists*. i love it.
Entrepreneurs can sure come up with some of the cleverest types of businesses — and names! We definitely need a company like this one!My odd shot is a Spiky skyline.
Okay! Now I KNOW I am in the city!! Heh! We don't have that business out here in Iowa - but maybe we should! Great shot!I have enjoyed reading about your meetings with bloggers! Sounds like you are having lots of fun!
Who would have thought gum was such a problem? Good to know there are heroes to handle it!
Is there really that much money in removing gum? Odd...nice in monochrome as well. BJ
There is nothing I dislike more than walking over someone else's chewed, discarded gum. *yuck*My family showed me their New York vacation pictures this weekend, and I was so jealous! You are so lucky to live there. I love all the photos you post.
:) great catch!
Who you gonna call?
Send that van to the Bay Area! Dodging gum on the sidewalks here is like negotiating through the dog poop on the sidewalks of Paris!
now, that is a a career I never ever considered. I should have called them on Saturday---I knelt in gum at Penn stations EEEEEEWWWWWW
that's a first for me!
