weekend wandering

it was a nasty weekend weather-wise
but
friends from
out of town
out of the country
out of state
converged
we met at the guggenheim
hard to believe this born/raised new yorker
had
never
been
to
the
guggenheim
before

no
seriously

after we walked round and round
we went to the
neue galleries

for lunch
at the elegant
old world feeling
café sabarsky

our mutual friend
and
 the person
 responsible
 for the rest of us
knowing one another
elizabeth wix
joined us

from the left
elizabeth, diana, jo and liisa

  3. The Neue Gallery and cafe is amazing! I rarely go to New York, but it's a favorite of mine also. Lucky you to have it nearby.

  5. What fun, Daryl.
Weather here this weekend was far less than desirable also.

  7. I grew up in NYC too and I have to admit only having been to the Guggenheim twice!
And it is always the case that those on their home front don't always manage the sites right out their front door... giggle...
Hugs for now from warm-ish New Hampshire...
