toonman came home from hospital on friday

thanks for all your well wishes

saturday 

i spent the day spoiling myself

wash/blow dry hair 

mani/pedi

brunch with my friend blondie

we took the subway uptown

out of the 'hood

henry's on broadway at 104th

yummy food and some pleasant live music

it was horribly cold/windy

but 

we decided to walk 

to 

next subway station

which is on 96th

originally an east side eatery
it moved crosstown
 first to amsterdam then to broadway
i was told by my blog friend susan

stopped to snap this photo

then 

we walked really fast to the bus stop

it was closer then the subway

plus 

we could see the bus coming!
