its sunday afternoon
 i have done
 all my beautifying
 all of my errands
 its pretty cold out
 lots of icy wind 

i am glad 
i have monday
 (today for you'all)
 off

 love
 long weekends

 i would have loved a long walk in the park
 but
 its really too cold
 for 
walks
 without 
destinations 
plus
 toonman is busy with football playoffs

 did i tell you i am going to barcelona? 
yup

 booked the airline tix 
got the time/place set 
for meeting our apartment rental host
 who also sent
 a list of local restaurants
 and 
links to points of interest 
we might want to see

 now 
i need
 everyone
 to
 concentrate
send 
good thoughts
 good vibes
 keep it from snowing
 until
 after we take off
february 2

 you see
 while
 it may
 not 
snow
 in january 

believe it or not 
there have been snowless januarys in new york 
but
 it 
always
 always
 always 
snows in february

 i could tell you 
about
 all the birthday celebrations
 affected by snow
 there have been many
 so
 everyone

good thoughts for no snow til after february 2 .. ok?

  2. I remember one year when my kids were at hockey practice. I remember being a little annoyed because it was Valentine's Day and I was grumbling about having to take them to hockey, but after the one hour practice, so much freak snow fell that I had to ferry three other children home because their parents didn't have 4wheel drives! High excitement for you! Barcelona! No way! C just booked her tixs to Japan, She leaves March 17th. :D

  4. I think it was Toonman who said you were to dye for! :) Rainy, cold days are no fun. I don't like cold at all! You'll have a great time in Barcelona. I've not been there, but from what I've seen and read it sounds like a fantastic city!
