  1. For some reason I feel compelled to tell you that the word Robot came from the Czech writer Karel Capek. He made it up form the Czech word robota which means hard work. :( Go forth Daryl. My Czech grandma used to say it'll keep you in hairdressers and pantyhose. Big hugs.

  2. The sculpture's kind of stark. Reminds me of a Rodin.

  4. Sorry, I know that you really enjoy them.

Does it help to know that I really enjoyed mine today? We dropped the kid off, had breakfast together, went on a long bike ride, refreshments afterward and am now home, chillaxing out.

Let me know if you would rather not hear about.

  5. The sculpture reminds me of the work of Irish sculptor Rowan Gillespie who has done pieces showing the starving Irish immigrants in the 1850s.

  6. Awww, this must be difficult, especially since it's been a pretty decent summer. Hope the transition isn't too bad. xo.
