 so

 the top of the one closest is cut off

 i tried to get it in the shot

my 35mm was not wide enough

 nevertheless

 there

 are 

3 others 

the last one down the line 

is 

hard to see

 its in shadow

 so look hard

 the opportunity to photograph them

 was the promise of my lurker friend susan 

whose apartment

 i visited

 a few weeks ago 

it was

 from 

her window

 the photo

 of 

the little houses on pomander walk 

were taken

still need

 to

 get back to see those 

from

 the ground

 speaking of ground

 we took

 two nice walks

 this past weekend 

the longer

was about 3 miles

 its the long loop 

uptown past the gardens 

down along the river

 to pier one

 then

 up the stairs 

carefully

  through the park to 79th

 its a good walk

 the second walk was the sunday

a short up to the garden and back

walking back 

looking out onto the river

a huge tanker

seemed to be anchored 

 toonman 

suggested 

i take a photo

 i considered it 

 walking

 looking

 out

 off 

walked

 right 

into

 a 

lamp post

neither 

the camera nor the lamp post 

were 

hurt

i 

suffered 

the embarrassment of being a klutz

this is
