  1. Hi Daryl! Sounds like such a nice lunch event. As for me, I'll be driving with my husband to the west side of Oregon (after church on Sunday) to spend a few days with our youngest son and his wife. I've reserved 3 nights at a motel, but we'll probably extend the stay, if I have any influence. ;-)

  5. Happy you are going to have a great weekend hon.

I plan on reading some and cleaning a little. Nothing big. Back in the day I had a plan for every one. I do most of my stuff during the week :)

  6. Tonight, there is a public showing of "West Side Story" in a waterfront park. It would be much cooler if we were in your city and seeing it shown on the side of a building in Lincoln Square, but...

Then tomorrow BC opens its football season. That is my fun, not MY WIFE's (I'm sure she'll enjoy a nap or something.)

Sunday we attend a BBQ at sister-in-law's house.

Monday is, as yet, unplanned. I expect ice cream may be involved when we get around to it.

  8. Sorry about the Fridacation season ending.

Fortunately I get them year round although it does results in going to work and going home in the dark much of the year.

I took a bonus Fridaycation day today and Heather and I went to see Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight and it was fabulous. Tomorrow I'm smoking ribs and chicken quarters and then we are eating them Sunday. Monday morning I'll be running in a trail race.

  9. My Fridaycations ended 2 weeks ago. But it's ok; I've gotten back into the swing of it now. No set plans yet other than a little homemaking but I plan to find something fun to do!

  10. What a great way to spend your lunch time, and it looks like it was a gorgeous day.

More of the same for me this weekend. I'll be glad when this is over, for sure. :-)
