a new perspective

because 

i spent a lot of time

 wednesday morning

 searching

 for my fitbit 

i was behind schedule

 when i got the subway 

the express was there

 i hurried

 carefully 

down the steps

 i am one of the first 

up the stairs 

yesterday

 i was at the back of the herd
