Yup. It's so rare these days that Robert and I actually want to see a movie so badly that we'll spent the $25 for cinema tickets.
Someone gave us free movie tickets and we haven't used them. It's summer, and summer movies are SO predictable. We will use them eventually. Meanwhile, we record the ones we want to see on TV and watch them at our leisure (very often it's half a movie one night and the other half the next night).K
I hear you Toonman :)
:-) :-)You never know. They just might!Thank you for the Tuesday smile, Toonman!
We rarely go to the theater anymore.
I am such a fan of Netflix as we like some foreign films and such that do not show in my area. Plus Mom can't really get to the theater so dvd's are the way to go for us!
My kids are huge Netflix fans too. They watch a ton of movies, very few of which are in the theaters. Maybe we could get enough positive endorsements here in the comments to get you a free subscription!
I love watching movies at home too, but there is something about the energy you feel watching a movie with an audience that I love - just as long as it's optional!
I swear this could have been my husband talking! He hasn't been to a movie theater since Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon! I still love to go. Mostly for the popcorn, but also because some movies just need to be seen on a giant screen. I admit there are many I've waited to see on Netflix, and I'm glad I didn't pay theater prices to see them!
