water tower

sunday
 at 11:15 am
 the southwest corner
 of
72nd street and west end avenue

 how do i know
 precisely
 where
 when
 an unusual occurrence for sure
 but
 i know
 i know
 because
 i paused here
waiting to cross on the green
 i was toting harry
 in the carrier
 he was not screaming
 but
he was doing
 a great impression
of
a trapped gymnast

we were on the way to the vet

 he's spent 3 days/nights
in the clinic
being monitored
surgery
has now been ruled out
a major relief

he will be well and home soon

  11. the picture of Harry as a trapped gymnast is too funny. glad he is feeling better! & I hope he is home sooner rather than later.
I really like how nicely the contrasting colors of the clouds next to the color of the buildings compliment each other.

  12. I feel bad that I am smiling about the 'trapped gymnast."
I am so glad he's coming home, Daryl.
I'll bet Jack has missed him a lot (even though he may not have admitted it!), and I know that you and Toonman have missed him too.
Really glad he won't have to have surgery too. xo.
