  6. I love subway shots. And it's interesting you take them at the same time every day. Did you see the film "Smoke" with Harvey Keitel and John Hurt? If you didn't, you should. He's a tobacco shop owner who takes a photo of the same street corner every day. That's not, of course, the main storyline.

  7. The black and white adds such an intensity to this random scene.

  10. Lots of legs including some nice ones.

I haven't figured out how to take pics without getting busted with a phone. I can do it with my "big" camera because I can rotate the viewfinder up and people don't take notice and with my analog cameras.

  11. This is exactly how I envision the NY subway on any given day.

  12. The last time I was on the subway I had my son and his then-girlfriend from Oregon. They really didn't want to take the ride but I insisted so they would get a real taste of NYC. The car was loaded and we were packed in like sardines. We took one look at eachother and burst out laughing...probably because they were so freaked out about the whole thing. Needless to say, no one batted an eye at the three tourists. Absolutely love this shot!!!

  16. I agree, black and white is the only way to go here. I admire your courage; I'd be afraid of offending or angering someone. It's the Midwest in me, I suppose.
