is no slouch
when it comes to outdoor cafes
or
their seating
i could have dug back
into my archives
for a spring or summer photo of outdoor dining
likely
i would have
but
this past weekend
i went to my favorite coffee shop
irving farms
on west 79 street
it was raining
no one
was sitting
on the pretty green chairs
sipping
smoking
keeping their dog company while their partner queues up for coffee inside
i stopped
i went
AHA
pulled out the camera
snapped
in addition
to the theme
of
cafe chairs

ReplyDeleteI believe I did a whole post on this as they were selling them at last year's Architectural Digest Home Show. They were fabulous and in my own town, I do not see them as much, but NYC has so many and they are Wonderful! Have a great weekend!!

ReplyDeleteThere are a few cafes here in Oregon but it rains too much for outside seating to be practical, except maybe for a few months in the summer.

ReplyDeleteOur favorite breakfast coffee spot we found near the hotel in San Francisco had a little parklet in front with these same cafe chairs. Too bad it was too cold to sit out there:)
