I drove about 600 miles between 5:30 Friday morning and 4 p.m. Saturday. Spent those two days and one night with my youngest sister and we were taken to dinner by my youngest son and his fiancee' in the city (Oregon-type). The squirrel resembles the ones who visit the bird feeders of sunflower seeds outside my window.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the squirrel, Daryl. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a good weekend. I envy the mani/pedi part. I don't suppose "pedi" can properly be applied to my fall out of bed at my brother's house last week, which ripped off a big toenail below the quick. Serious ouch.
If you like, you can read about my weekend on Janice's blog, because I told her something I haven't told any other blogging friends yet.

Great shot of the squirrel, I do love to watch them and their antics!
ReplyDeleteNot much going on here this weekend...knitted, crocheted and watched a few movies.
So glad you had a nice weekend!
There he is, and I think he sees you!
ReplyDeleteSpent time outside with my camera this weekend.
Looks like it going to be just about a week of bitter cold ahead, so glad I got out.
Have a good day!
xo.
I had a very nice weekend, I spent it entirely with my husband. 15 years and counting.
ReplyDeleteWe finally took our Christmas tree and decorations down. I am slightly embarrassed. It usually comes down the week after New Years. Life gets in the way, but that's okay.
I had a great weekend, thanks for asking:-) And to top it all off, the Niners are going to the Super Bowl!! I just had to say that because it sounds so good.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect weekend Daryl! Mine was good - two grands stayed Friday night and all day Saturday, out with MWM on Saturday nights at the pub, met up with friends we've not seen for years for lunch and beers on Sunday, then saw some other people we've not seen for ages on the way home and had another couple of drinks with them. :)
ReplyDeleteI think you needed that beer Daryl, glad you had a hectic weekend..best thing. Take care.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend was fine until Mrs. C. started feeling poorly. I hope it isn't the flu, although she did get her flu shot.
ReplyDeleteDaryl, great gnarly tree!
ReplyDeleteGreat weekend here, some sun, some fog, but a good weekend to start my next year !
How was my weekend? Sweet of you to ask! It was very 'white' with plenty of snow. The novelty is......, well, let me give it another day. Your photo looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI've come to realize that a truly free weekend is out of reach for me BUT it still can be peaceful and that's what I strive for...it was peaceful...and the wash got done :)
ReplyDeleteThat squirrel looks like he was toying with ya behind the twigs. It's kind of nice to see bare ground this time of year!
ReplyDeletei think that the squirrel would reply that he, too, was quite busy gathering nuts and stuff, and then there was that tarantino film (squirrels LOVE tarantino - not many people know how violent squirrels are), and of course, the in-laws. but, again, no laundry, so sunday morning he slept in.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend was fun: lunch at an English style tea room, reconaissance at a gun show for ours this weekend, dinner out, church, reno house work, target shooting, grilled shrimp dinner and Downton Abbey.
