There was a story on the news today about the man who has built these NY water towers for years. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name, but he sure takes pride in his work.
I LOVE the pics you post of water towers (well, I love ALL your pics, but coming from a village that has one small water tower, I find this beyond fascinating!) I am going to go "googling" for more info...Thanks for the great "views."
beautiful shot!hope you feel better soon, dear
Oh yes I see the second one, though I don't think I would have spotted it had you not said there was one!
The one on the cylinder looks like it's hiding in Hide and Seek by pressing its back against the wall! Good post!
I was going to ask about that cylindrical "stand" too.
nice water towers...ugly 'stand'...they are everywhere, aren't they?
this shot is so perfectly composed!beautiful sky and the ESB looks lovely
Yup I see the second one, you know what it needs? It needs a cylinder to stand on to make it taller haha!
Do you think it's a double decker?
Almost missed that second tank! And I want to know what's in that cylinder.
We were right there, and I didn't get to go in. It's a lovely picture.
Daryl, great shot! Weird, but every time I see the Empire State building I think of King Kong!
I see it!!What a gorgeous blue sky this is.
I hope it's not full of spam.
Neat cylinder to sit upon:) I like the peek of the Empire State Building:)
yeah, nice shiny cylinder that strangely echoes the mast atop the E.S. Bldg! Aloha from Honolulu,Comfort Spiral =^..^= > < } } ( ° >
NIfty buildings.I found the water tower, too.Way to go, Daryl. You're making me feel more confidence in my ability to look at and see things.K
Great pic, I'm saving my one water tower pic for a special occasion. Cylinders are great structurally. If done right.
