funny faces

this past
I was over not shooting the moon
 I beautified,
met my pal Westside Wendy
(she was planning on blogging under that name but never did I think she missed out on a good blog title)
for brunch
a walk to the

we wandered
 up and down
 the rows of vendor tables
 the warm weather
new vendors

 I met
Michael A. Potecha
(map glassworks llc)
an artist
who works with
 art and recycled glass
which he paints
I wish now I had my BIG camera with me
 his art is gorgeous
 priced to sell
 I did tell him
I thought
he was under valuing his work
 he feels
he is right
that in order
to get noticed
he must keep his prices down
 for now anyway

that little glass tray

(he makes tiles, tivots, serving dishes all microwave and dishwasher safe)

which could be used for everything
from a dish you keep on your dresser to put
bracelets or necklaces in
to a dish on the table
with canapes or some other small finger food
 use your imagination

under that painted mustache
so whimsical
he said to me
go ahead
I'll take a photo of you

  10. I agree with the previous posters - the koi pieces are wonderful, and your mustache is quite charming.

I'm sorry you missed out on the moon shots; I saw it, but I was rather preoccupied at the time (it was during my son's wedding reception). So I missed the photo op too.

  11. I loved these photos when I saw them on IG! Just checked out his flickr page and he is talented those koi platters!

  12. Very dashing indeed Daryl, there's something about a woman with a mustache haha! I can see why you loved his work, I would have had to buy the Connoisseur Dish.
