for the birds

the weather
this weekend
 in Philly
 the city of brotherly love
was less than hospitable
being intrepid photographers and bloggers
we
did not
 let the gale force winds
the almost non stop icy rain
keep us from having a really great time

Reena of MissingMoments
 hosted
and
me
at her home
The Professor
joined
 us
 for dinner on Saturday evening
 at
a tapas restaurant on the Main Line
dahlings
 and
he took us to brunch on Sunday
at
a New Orleans themed restaurant
in an area called
Manayunk

In between
eating
hey
girls gotta
 keep
their strength up
 when toting BIG
cameras

I took over 200 photos
most
of
 which
 were in focus
despite
 the wind
I kid you not
 here
 see
 for
 yourself
 how
windy
it
was

the rest
of the
 photos
 will
be
shared
over at
 beginning
 today
with
a shot
from
South Philly's
Italian Market

  5. You are very sure handed and stable in the wind, come to Oklahoma. If the wind ever stopped the whole population would just keel over.

  23. So you'll be pretty much used to windy conditions when you get around to visiting Perth then Daryl, we are definitely known as one of the windiest cities! That is a great looking bunch of 'heavy' camera equipment on the table there, impressive!
