It was a
lovely weekend
after
beautifying

Toonman
and
 I
took a
walk
it was a warmish afternoon
 but
there was
a lot of
fog
over the
Hudson

some
 of the
birch trees
got
their
red on

 birds
 were

everywhere

they
 might
have
been
 hoping
 to catch
fish

or
maybe
they
 were
house hunting

whatever
 they were up to
I was happy
to be
out and about
 with
the
 BIG
camera
 snapping away

It wasnt a long walk but it was a good walk
thanks for tagging along!

  1. It was a warm one here too yesterday and today as well. The first heat saps the strength out of me... Still waiting for major flowers. I remember getting really excited as a kid when I saw the first spring robin.

  2. So happy that you had a lovely weekend! The weather was wonderful here, too...and the birds are busy building a 'home' in the tree next to the porch..they sing all night long!
Hope you have a great week!

  7. Beautiful weather. We had some, too, and several different kinds of birds have been here. Now we're having a blizzard, and we were supposed to drive to Calgary (3 hours) and back today. My husband is in a quandary. I say he should look into flying, and leave me and the dog at home.
Your photos are lovely, Daryl, as always, and very welcome today.

  12. Daryl, glad you had a nice walk! Believe it or not, but the sun is actually shining right now. It almost seem foreign, seeing we haven't seen it much lately! I hope it lasts!
The Gull looks like it's doing the crane move from Mr. Miagi's movie! You know the one: wax on, wax off! Can't bring the name to the front of my mind! I have CRAFT disease: Can' Remember a Friggin Thing!

  16. Love these, especially the one of the robin. He/ she was probably searching for a good bug or a worm. (Not that they're good, mind you, but the robin thinks so.)

    Sounds like a wonderful walk.

  21. What a delightful walk - love the bench :).

It poured here most of the weekend. Now it's dry but dusty as hell. Yuck. I'm trying to remember what blue skies look like...
