I'm pretty sure I have been at that block.I love photographing the water towers on top of buildings whenever I'm in NYC, and also the contrasts between old and new.I'm in NY right now, so that's where my WW is located as well:http://www.ptank.com/blog/2011/11/wordless-wednesday-1-wtc-at-sunset/
such a contrast from the water tower to the modern building behind it...and it seems to be perching on a building with interesting architectural details.
I think I would have to test any water being used from that tank....
looks like it needs a tiny bit of work.or replacement.
Looks a bit rusty that one.
This one looks like it's seen better days.
Wonderful textures in this image, Daryl.;-D
It won't be hot and hazy tonight! Cannot wait to see you! And, great capture as always;)
I've just given myself a crick in the neck trying to read the letters going down the side of the tank haha! btw love your new header shot.
Thinking of you ~ heading out with my grocery list on this rainy morning. Hope you have a fun time with L. Oh, heck - I know you will!

I like this one, it has a lot of detail on the tower and the buildings. Have you ever climbed one? You could have someone take your photo doing that!!! j/k
