water tower wednesday

I've been trying
to
remember
where
I took this
and
I cant.

I do know
it was taken
on
Sunday, Sept 25 at 2:30 pm

I am going
to
guess
its on the
UWS
(Upper West Side)
 on the way
to or from
the
Green Flea

I swear
if I dont
 write something down
the minute
I think about it
or
do whatever
it is
right
now
I am lost
the thought is gone
the intent delayed
the momentum lost

I guess
I should
be
thankful
I still know
what my keys
are
even
when
I cant remember
where I put
them

  2. The water towers are such a distinctive sight in NYC. It's interesting, I can be quite forgetful/absent-minded as well, but photographs and other vivid visuals I'm good at remembering...

Mine is up this week, too:

  4. You are not the only one -- must write stuff down too.

I like the hint of pink in the sky.

  12. Do you know that is the first sign of Alzeheimers - not knowing WHAT something is - not the forgetting WHERE something is. I found that facinating. So long as I know what something is, say, like a spoon and know that you eat ice cream or soup with it I'm cool. The minute I don't recognize a spoon - CALL MY DAUGHTER, PLEASE! LMAO!! Outrageous post. Cheers Daryl!!

  14. I really like this photo. My mind used to be so sharp, I never imagined I could drop a thought or a word the way I do now. Thank goodness we have our cameras to remind us where we've been even if we forget.

  15. I know the feeling. I'll be standing in the kitchen wondering why I'm there, then I have to retrace my steps until I remember. By that time, I've found something more important to do. Sheesh.
