flea market finds

a little dust off
some
clever
electricianing™
(I just made that word up: copyright!)
you've got
a lamp for the den
or
maybe
the bedroom

I'll let you think about it

covet
this box
its fabulous
alas
no where to keep it
its not tall
enough
for an end table
too tall
for a foot stool
Chipso,
I never heard of this,
 which
in itself
is amazing
once
for a long time
worked
on Mad Ave
and
I am old

lamp for the bathroom. In large families with one bathroom timing is important. Love your creative journalisms

  3. Chipso facto...you are NOT "old"! Am considering the irony of placing a traffic light in the bathroom...

  4. Great finds, love the traffic light, and the bathroom irony angle is making me giggle in a very 10 year old boy sort of way ;).

  5. Love the traffic light in the bedroom notion, a bit like Robin above giggle! giggle! Did you take them home, that's the question, what a talking point they would be!! Such fun rummaging around old markets, went to one today too!!

  8. That really is a great looking box though. Too bad you don't have a use for it. Hopefully it found a home elsewhere.

  11. I love the old crates. A few months ago the CA State Railroad Museum in Sacramento had an exhibit. All the old crates and labels were so fun to look at.

  12. LOL...you should open up a store so you can collect all that cool stuff! PS--I may never leave Virginia.

  13. You're only as old as you let yourself be. I'm about 14.

  14. Jeez Loueez how many entries have I missed??

That is a great crate, for sure. I admire your restraint in not dragging it home. I have no self control at all when it comes to cool stuff. Hence the Early Hoarder decor in my house.
