Summer
is
fading into
Fall
Labor Weekend is here!
The week
is winding
down
its Friday
and
the post
I was going to publish today
with a whole lot of words about
sticking
well
Blogger posted it on Monday
dont even
ask
I couldnt
begin
to explain it
or
the odd time issues
I am having with the Schedule setting.
Lets
just
look
at this
ghost sign
and
how
the 'newer' building
seems
to be
fading
into
the older building behind it
at least
that's what
I see
what do see?
will you miss summer?
are you looking forward to fall?
Regardless.
I am glad you stopped by!

Great City image. you got brick dust in your blood and we can feel it.
ReplyDeleteblogger is treating me OK. Guess it's picking on YOU now. Boo!

what a fabulous photo Daryl! Enjoy your weekend! xo
ReplyDeletealways enjoy seeing the ghost signs..
ReplyDeletegreat capture and effect.
Enjoy the long holiday weekend...
Back to work for me as usual on Sunday
night.....
I had some issues with linking to Skywatch yesterday and so did a bunch of other people...alien interference, no doubt.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you enhanced this photo. It's sad to me to see old buildings disappear or be swallowed up, but such is life; nothing lasts forever.
Will I miss summer? Well, here it has been really, really hot. Fall is my favorite season, so...
Love the photo and how the old and new buildings blend together. Fall is a little bittersweet for me- my girl is a senior this year and my boy is starting kindergarten.... they grow up too fast
ReplyDeleteanother awesome pic! I am loving this HDABCDEF, or whatever it's called, technique!
ReplyDeleteI miss summer three seasons of the year. Don't get me wrong.. I love and appreciate much about every season.. but summer is MINE! Cool image.
ReplyDeleteI love faded brick
ReplyDeleteI will not miss summer at all
come on autumn
We had Summer in Spring, then Fall in Summer and now we're having Summer again. Go figure! :(
ReplyDeleteIt's like the old building is stronger. awesome shot and whatever technique you used is interesting.
ReplyDeleteI will miss summer, but fall means I can break out my boots! I miss my boots.
ReplyDeleteI love ghost ads. Really, I love most things that, at one time, were vibrant and current, but are now reminders of another age. There is a certain dignity to most of them.
ReplyDeleteHi Daryl! It's been way too long since I have stopped by...my apologies! Love your new look (even though you might have had it awhile by now). Your photography keeps improving and improving!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot. I see the new building being smooshed by the older two (like the youngest sibling in the back of the car). Sign is a great reminder that the past is always with us, as someone said.
ReplyDeleteHappy Labor Weekend!
oh and btw...for what it's worth, I haven't had much luck with scheduling posts either!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to fall, although summer wasn't too awful after all.
ReplyDeleteI don't like heat, so I am looking forward to fall.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely GORGEOUS!!
