three on thursday

West 78th Street
 is by far
one of the prettiest blocks
on the UWS
(Upper Westside).

I've featured its
prettily painted townhouses before
 this time
I am focusing
(not so well, poor little PointandShoot is having zoom focus issues)
on the decorations.

This house in particular with its many
 - in sets of THREE -
planters and window boxes
 is one of my favorites.

  1. Love this ... so much that I
    'borrowed' the theme idea...
    hope you don't mind....

  2. So beautiful. Now I want window boxes and more flowers.

  3. How lovely. I can never keep mine alive.

My photography is available for purchase - visit Around the Island Photography and bring home something beautiful today!

  4. That's so pretty, the colours against the mainly white background, perfect!

  5. We have one window box on our house... but I'm afraid to go back into the bushes, where I would have to go in order to plant something in it, due to snakes. So, it has dirt in it and nothing else. sighs

  6. So cheerful! Aren't those little pansy faces beaming at us?
    How does your garden grow?

  7. love that alabaster white background to show off the flowers, lovely xo

  8. Sets of 3 - well known decorator secret. Nice!

  9. Love love love! (set of 3!) I never seem to do well with flower boxes...but these, sigh, are gorgeous!

  10. I love roaming the UWS neighborhood when we make it to the city. Love the architecture and doorways.

  11. Flowers make a home more inviting, don't you think? Right now mine is not so nice...I need to make it to the nursery this coming LONG weekend. (Oh how I'm looking forward to that extra day!)

  12. Wonder what they'll fill them with this weekend - it's getting much too hot for pansies now. Beautiful!!

  13. totally rocks, Dar!

  14. Very pretty. Love how the colors of the flowers just burst against that white background.

    wv: reall. For reall.
