things are looking

Its been a long week
no bread;
lets not even discuss what happens when you eat matzoh all week

Now its Good Friday
Sunday is Easter
back to work Monday
the days fly by

Don't you wish
once in a while
they would
just paddle slowly
wouldn't that be

  1. This is how my month has been. I'm hoping for some slow paddling this coming week.
Yesterday I had chocolate-covered matzoh. It was pretty good.

  2. Yeah, it would be nice if life slowed down for those things we might like to meditate upon a bit longer, and speed up for those events that are distasteful and/or painful. Ah, well. Nice duck!

  3. I moved to the country for the express reason of doing things like slowing down and smelling coffee and roses and omg horse poop! Yes, life out here is ideal...I'll never do cities again and I've lived in some of the largest ones in the world...except NY...after London and DC don't think NY would much care for my expressions of disgust with large citylife lol
great shot of the duck by the way...think he'll be winging his way my way anytime soon?

  4. The WHOLE drive in I was wishing I didn't have to work and could stay home with my daughter. She made up a funny song for us on the way to daycare and I just wanted to go for a walk and sing it all the way to the park. even if its cloudy and damp out. :(

  5. Slow down you go to fast, got to make the morning last...feeling groovy , EAR BUG!
    love the photo, wonderful tone.

  6. Since retiring time does paddle slowly for me - it's great!

It's been a scorcher here today 45C in the sun! Whew!

  7. I'm exhausted from racing around all morning.... think I will paddle this afternoon.

  8. Wishing you a joyous Passover.

  9. I'm sitting here waiting to see if hubby has a kidney stone. Just ducky for the weekend:)
    Joyous Passover!

  10. Deep truth
    with elegance

Why do you think i live in Hawaii?
I envy your life in many ways,
but we chose to live small
amidst beauty. I could afford a house on the continent, but who wants to live away from all THIS?

You have New York, and share it with us - YaY!

  11. Hugs, and Passover Blessings. Have some spinach;)

  12. Daryl, Happy Easter to you and Toonman!
Seems as we get older the times goes faster. It seems it's going so fast I can hardly catch my breath!
    Mazal Tov!

  13. Happy Passover, and I hope the world stops spinning so fast.

  14. you are so good Daryl. I don't think I could ever give up bread for that long.
& I know what you mean, sometimes I can't stand how quickly time goes by.

  15. I love the fishy thing in the comment up above! Imagine thinking that the meantime your city mallards are much like my country mallards..lovely shot! Coming to NYC in June..can't wait to see some of what you've shared.

  16. Damn time. It just keeps slipping by me. Me no likey!
Hope your Passover was wonderful, and you get to enjoy Easter vicariously as well! (If I were home, I'd have you and Ray over - next year!)

  17. My workdays should feel free to fly past, but my weekends should definitely drag. I like for them to last as long as possible.

    Have a good one!
