  1. Interesting how each house has its own identity! Do improvements and paint colors have to be approved?

  2. Individuality stands out here. I like it!

I must have missed what happened to your shoulder, Kate, but I am thrilled to hear about your progress. How is it all impacting your getting to know your iMac?

Please stop by on Thursday, after midnight on Wednesday even, at Portland Oregon Daily Photo to see my first ever embedded video. It shows my younger son Leland bouldering at The Circuit in Portland, Oregon, as filmed by his older brother Lamont, who also boulders.

  6. How did you take this shot ? Were you squatting or sitting down ? I am trying to take pictures from different perspectives which has been tricky since I injured my knee in October but I am determined !

  7. I'd look to be able to wander around inside each one of these. They are so narrow. You can tell I'm used to wide open spaces, can't you?

    Beautiful photo!

  11. The inquiring mind of «Louis la Vache» wants to know: "Where's the water tower?!"

  12. Did you "manipulate" this photo! Even if you did, this is one of the best photos I've seen of that area! Fantastic light and colors. I mean it is "awesome," and I hardly ever use that word.

Not to worry about visiting; I've got the same problem. Too much to do; something's gotta give. What the hell, I'm supposed to be retired, right?

Hope you're having a great day!

  13. I love the way the sky is reflected in some of the windows of the colorful building.

  14. The houses are more colorful than the sky. At least it's not snowing for you. :)

    colorful than ours...

  18. Love buildings that are painted. We have one neighborhood near downtown with Victorian homes that are beautiful, but not like this!!

  19. Great architectural details on these homes. And colorful, too! I like this street you've shared. :)
