wow! nice catch Daryl. I like how you photographed it from this perspective.
We don't have much graffiti here, but I know you sure have alot of it there! Nice catch indeed!!
disturbing... I don't know why.
I didn't know they knew each other!
If you hadn't said Angelina I never would have known.Very interesting. I"m sure people have done photo books on wall art/street art/graffiti alone. This one might make a good note card, it's so unique. wv: asmentic. When allergies make you crazy, you need to tell your doctor you're asmentic.
Hey, I really DO have this photo! I'll try to remember to send you mine. I saw a sad documentary on TV about Marilyn last night.
Well it kinda looks like Banksy's work. And if anybody could do it, he'd be the guy. He's amazing!Great capture! You win!
looks morbid for some reason!nice find.happy theme day!
At first I thought it was two of Marilyn..great photo! Too bad about the 'tags'- someone is a fabulous artist
So the red markings and that scratched symbol are intentional? They're quite wonderful.
Fabulous graffiti/street art. Is it really Banksy?
A strangely compelling photo! The red "staches" add just the right jolt of color!
Got to admit that is some fanciful graffiti. But I agree with you about whether a tagger should express himself or herself on public or private property.I've never heard of Banksy until today and in one blog it was intimated that he was unhappy that he didn't get the proper recognition for his "art."He's an idiot. Draw on paper or cloth or steel or whatever belongs to you. If you have to draw on other people's property you cross a line. It's not nice, not fun and should not be recognized as "art." How about telling the truth: It's criminal behavior!Okay, I'm quitting now. Have a nice weekend, Daryl!
Liking the mustaches....
I like it. Kind of fanciful and almost more so with the graffiti.
You found your peers, Dar!Warm Aloha from HonoluluComfort Spiral
Happy Theme Day - great post for "graffiti"Have a wonderful weekend :)Hood Photo Blog
Oh how cool.. gotta love street art.. it adds even more character to your city.
See, I could love the MM stuff but the damn taggers ruin it all. Grrrr.V
I think I was with you when you took these.
I just love a woman with a mustache. :)
I may dye my mustache red!<><
i would swear that was madonna and not marilyn
