Is that a colored photo or did you make it black and white? It's wonderful!WV: splathr - Better watch out so you don't step on the splathr those pigeons do so well.
I suppose it's too much to ask that they're cleaning up after themselves, yeah?Great shot whatever they're doing!
Perfect in B&W....but you do have to wonder exactly what they are eating.
Great black/white of the littlepesky burds. They are so flighty, but you caught them and viola...
You caged those little rascals with this shot! They sure are messy little critters... I stirred up a flock of 'em the other morning, just riding by, and ended up cleaning crap off my bike frame for many, many minutes.
That reminds me - breakfast time! lol
When that was first loading I thought it was a bunch of dead pigeons. I was relieved to see they were very much alive. Great shot.
looking for food, it looks like. Beautiful.
Love the monochromatic shot Daryl =)
Very nicely captured. Some things are just meant to be processed in black and white. Well done.
This photo made me start laughing. Stupid pigeons. (I make fun of them often.) Lovely capture, though, and I enjoy the picture in black and white. Happy WW!
Here kitty, kitty, lunch is ready...
The black and white is perfect. That's a realm I've not even considered yet, but you have it down to a fine art.
I like the pigeons against the sidewalk in black and white.
I admit that the black-and-white accentuates the patterns of the feathers & some of those are actually pretty, but nothing will get me to like a pigeon! Sorry.
It's clear to me that they're all eating dedelsteins. The one at the top left can't be too hungry. He's only pecking at his. ;)
wouldn't it be great if pigeons could eat gum?
Lil's onto something. Maybe it would .......well never mind, there are pigeon lovers out there......somewhere.V
Oh, I miss NY! Been in the south Since February 2008. Thanks for sharing!
Busy birds!Aloha from Waikiki Comfort Spiral
what a fantastic picture! I love birds and this is one of the best bird pictures that I have seen in a long time!
The markings on their backs are lovely, unlike the markings they leave everywhere else! LOL
I always wonder what they are pecking at.. sometimes it just seems like nothing.
Ah yes! The ever present , City Chicken.
Fantastic! I am such a fan of B&W!<><
A dinner party!
I bet it's smaller than goose poop!
No I haven't found her contact lens, just keep looking!
Henpecked was the first thing that came to mind. The splotches on the sidewalk remind me of the the walks at the school we last taught in...gum! Ugh!
Thanks for sharing this great b&w pic!!! I love it!:) The Bach
From my husband: "Food in some countries". I say, great shot! word verification: nestud
Great capture and looks wonderful in B&W!
This is probably the only time I going to say anything nice about pigeons but your photos are just poetic.http://www.nycsinglemom.com
What a typical New York City scene LOL. absolutely perfect for wordless wednesday, nothing need be said.We see this so often that we pass by almost disgusted and never usually pay much attention, but here you have stopped them in time for us to see that these birds are really busy at something, perhaps eating and perhaps as busy as any of us walking hurriedly down the street. . Looks great as b&w.
I think I have seen some of the same birds in San Francisco. Nice touch to make the pic in black & white. I'm surprised 3 of your 9 birds can't find food to eat. :D
