thursday in the hood/City Daily Photo Theme: Reflections

so there I was
walking along Broadway
when this wonderful
window display
caught
my
eye
had
to get closer
to see
past
the reflections

then
I had to go in
to ask
if I might
snap a
close up
remember making flowers
from tissues (Kleenex)?
these,
I was told,
were made
by
the store's employees
out of
tissue paper!

  3. Love all the photos. The reflections against the bright colors of the tissue paper flowers is great. It is almost abstract in quality.

  6. This is so strange. I keep flashing on Rhoda from The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Wasn't she a window dresser? The mind is a weird thing. I love the shots!

  7. Fantastic reflections. Since james at Newtown Daily Photo started his Weekend Reflections meme, I have been ever more noticing reflections in my walks and hikes.

  16. Wonderful reflections and the tissue paper flowers are such fun. I do remember making them and for some reason they made me think of paper dresses. I remember when they were a fad for a while.
