  2. I've always wanted to see NYC. I wonder if I would ride that bus around if I did come. Hmmmm.....

  4. I always wondered what it would be like to take a tour in one. I should try it.

  7. I think this is perfect for theme day. I would never have thought about it.

I chose a picture I took 55 years ago of my Patty wearing a red dress. On April Fool's Day, April 1, 1955.

I gave her a diamond engagement ring, and today, April 1, 2010 is my entry for theme day on my Brookville Daily Photo blog.

  9. I never saw the point of the bus tours, but then again, I'm a NYC on foot kinda person.

the red is wonderful in contrast with the bare trees and the buildings

  11. I love this photo. A bus tour can be appropriate and fun - depending on what city you are visiting. Some are better explored on foot.

  12. Just guessing that West 72nd is one way? Going west?

The driver was probably blinded by the arrest-me red of the bus. Yeah, that must be it.

  15. I knew you'd have a good one. Thanks for keeping me on track. Now what's May's? I've gone looking and of course can't find it. Maybe it's not been voted on?

So is spring creeping up on the Big Apple?

  17. As much as I don't like appearing like the tourist that I still am, I think I may have to hop on one of those tomorrow while my friend is at work and I get to play with his dslr all day. I think it'll give the opp for some nice sidewalk and storefront shots as well as give me a visual overview so that I can discover which areas of manhattan I'd really like to explore on foot.

Any suggestions of where to grab a quick bite on the go in the city?
