  12. Good job! You're getting to be quite the creative photographer in spite of your protestations you only want to know enough to press the shutter!

Have a wonderful week filled with good things!

  13. Very nice shot. It reminds me of a Brassai and his photography on Paris de Nuit. There are similarities to his photograph Les Escaliers de Montmartre Paris {The Steps Of Montmarte Paris}.

  14. Love the movement in this photo. Black and white makes the movement more apparent I think.

  18. Did you take this while running toward the subject? The effect is marvelous.

I managed something similar by accident once, by shooting through my front windshield while driving. Other than that, I can't figure out how you did this.

  21. What an absolutely fantastic picture! I watch a fair amount of science fiction (since I am a geek) and the picture is so reminiscent of the special effect shots for a variety of things such as time travel, or alien perspective.

That's meant as a compliment, by the way. I also listen to commentaries a fair amount (I took a lot of film classes, so they interest me) ...and those effects cost thousands to pull off with CGI.

You evidently managed it in the park, with your camera. Incredibly well done!
