  1. The hippo looks happy. I like when hippos are happy. They're scary when they're not.

  3. When one of my cousins was a tiny little girl, we would purposely ask her what one of those was, just to hear her answer, "it's a HIPPOPOTAPUS." I just love me a god hippopotapus! :)

  7. They do look fun! Hard to believe that every year real hippos kill more people in Africa than any other animal, or so I've heard. I can only imagine that they must upset boats or something.

  15. Hi, Daryl

It's been too long since I stopped by.

Love the hippos - must be tempting for the kids to hop into the open mouth of that "ferocious" one! :-)

  16. Oh, okay. I thought these were speed bumps!

Hey, it's NYC. What could possibly be surprising about that?

Hey, hey. But I've got say they're pretty "hip"! And I love Central Park and these are great pictures and I hope you didn't get blown away yesterday. Did you really get 70 mph winds.

If so, you might as well move to Florida, 'cause that's hurricane force!

Meanwhile have a great week and take good care of thyself!
