The hippo looks happy. I like when hippos are happy. They're scary when they're not.
Sweet and fun!
Great and funny...Nice photo!GreetingsYvi
When one of my cousins was a tiny little girl, we would purposely ask her what one of those was, just to hear her answer, "it's a HIPPOPOTAPUS." I just love me a god hippopotapus! :)
I bet children love them!
Nice hippo... there must be a gator hiding somewhere..yessss ?
Those hippos cast a nice shadow.
I love when someone with imagination creates such things for children.
Now that is fun. I think I want some for my back yard.
They do look fun! Hard to believe that every year real hippos kill more people in Africa than any other animal, or so I've heard. I can only imagine that they must upset boats or something.
So many unexpected surprises in NYC! I love these hippos, and would have never known about them if it was not for your blog. I love your photos of the hippos, they look like they are enjoying themselves.Love you Header too!!!
In the larger top pic, that looks like the lesser known Hippo-bottomless!
They are lots of fun. Cheerful dudes. Great shots, Daryl.
Nice photos! so funny..!!ByeDario
I bet the kids love those!
I'll take Quicksand for $500, Alex.
these are so cute. I bet the kids love them.
Happy is good. These make me happy too. I'll bet the kids go nuts climbing over these guys!
Those are so awesome. They liven up the area while adding fun and imagination to the kids. So cool!
Hippos may be scary beasts but they're definitely cute!
Hi, DarylIt's been too long since I stopped by.Love the hippos - must be tempting for the kids to hop into the open mouth of that "ferocious" one! :-)
Oh, okay. I thought these were speed bumps! Hey, it's NYC. What could possibly be surprising about that? Hey, hey. But I've got say they're pretty "hip"! And I love Central Park and these are great pictures and I hope you didn't get blown away yesterday. Did you really get 70 mph winds. If so, you might as well move to Florida, 'cause that's hurricane force!Meanwhile have a great week and take good care of thyself!
I love the hippos. This may be a duplicate comment as I'm having trouble leaving a comment on your blog.
