  13. There is something about the colors and low angle of this photograph that is especially pleasing. It reminds me of a program I watched last night on Nat Geo, called "America Before Columbus." I had never stopped to realize that such things as apples and grapes (and pigs!) were introduced to North America by Europeans. Squash, corn and turkeys went the other way.
