As ever, he has a point....take him to see this is it, he'll love it...
the news is that life is transient. we all survive thru thick and thin :)
One can always choose not to watch the news....life would be so much better!
That same old stuff is just not worth our time any more.
I've gotten to where I don't even watch the news any more. Somehow, it seems less invasive when I read it. That way, I can skip the parts I don't want to hear while I'm here in my bubble.
What an excellent question!I'll be pondering that one for a while I think.
I can't take it any more.
SOSO, or same ol same ol...but we're still here...that's good news anyway!Sandi

Just that, the same old *^$&, just on a different day. Ad nauseum...(sigh)(BTW, Blogger doesn't believe nauseum is a correctly spelled word.)
Boy, that's the truth. We've gotten to the point where we don't watch the "news" very often. We get the Orlando stations and they believe it is their civic duty to ignore everything that happens in the state capitol and play up big time every murder, rape, or other deviancy in the city - Orlando is the murder capitol of the world, I think!
It's time to read a good book!<><
stick to watching the Jets oh wait ... doesn't NJ have another football team? you could try watching them I suppose ;)
"A reason not to watch the news."
