  3. What a cutie. We don't have squirrels (or for that matter chipmunks either) here, they're always a huge treat for my kids when we go to the States. Take them to the zoo and they come home raving about the squirrels - real live wild animals just running around mom, not in cages or anything!

  4. How on earth did it manage to look so comfortable hanging across a bit of wire?!!!
I'm glad you caught this shot :)

  6. Kind of gives new meaning to "shit or get off the fence!"

  7. A perfect shot of the fascinating antics and acrobatics of a little squirrel. It amazes me what these little creatures can do, although I can't say I like them stealing the bird food!

  13. Reminds me of home. Yesterday I looked out the backdoor to find a squirrel curled up on a plant hanger regarding me regarding him.

  15. Omigod, that's so funny. And a great shot...we've got squirrels all over our yard but they are so squirrelly that I can never get a good shot. Sometimes they bend over and get a drink from the pool, but, of course, I never have my camera then!

  16. Look at those little haunches! I want to pinch them!

Hey! Archie McPhee makes squirrel underpants. Nothing quite like a naked squirrel.

  17. "Oof! that's gonna leave a mark."

I howled. I hope the little guy didn't hurt himself. I'd feel awful if I was laughing at his pain.

Well... for a few minutes anyway. It's still hysterical.

  18. I saw something similar in Madison Square Park on Saturday, but I didn't have my camera with me, a squirrel perched on a fence like that, and coming up the walk behind him a cocker spaniel, and in front of him also coming toward him a little bulldog! He looked liked he was wondering what to do about those dogs.
