thursday in the hood - windows

One of our front windows.
The window box's little begonias & impatiens
have thrived
due to the amazing
Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Soil
TSAnnie
(& MentalPMama)
brought me back in
whenever the heck that was.

  3. A very attractive window box - and the window itself.

I swear by Miracal-Gro. (But did I spell it right?)

  5. Beautiful window, but you know how much I love wrought iron, leaded glass, etc. The flower box is nice too.

  6. It's kind of like steroids in dirt. Sure works.

  7. I love the pattern on the windows. How about pansies for fall?

  8. You have to be careful with that Miracle Gro stuff...I spilled some on a cat once, and it turned into a lion!

Nah, just kidding. Would you believe a puma? How about a fox?

    Okay, okay!

Anything that makes anything else grow has my seal of approval. Well, almost anything.

There is so much of interest here, I've been staring at the picture for a solid two minutes. What's behind the shutters, I wonder. What beautiful wrought iron bars, I think. The flowers aren't bad, either. Thought I'd better say that 'cause the flowers are the point of the post, as I recall.

Where was I? Oh, yeah. Have a great day in ze Big Apple. Stay warm.

  9. Miracle gro is certainly great stuff! Although I wouldn't really know since I have a black thumb and kill plants:)

  13. I love the idea of seeing blooms every time you look out your window. My flowers on the porch have bloom spectacularly this summer thanks to all the rain we've had.

  14. As you well know, MiracleGro from Connecticut is FAR SUPERIOR to NYC MiracleGro!

Just look at how beautiful that box is!! ;-)

  15. LOVE this window. I like the leaded glass. I need to find some of that soil (you told me about it before) because I want to plant some pansies outside that I think will last quite a quite against a sunny wall. (Authorblog gave me the idea.) But they'll die from lack of water before frost if I don't get some of that.
