  3. Looks like a delightful spot to pause for a while on a Sunday afternoon. Your shadow and mine could meet there.

  5. Your pictures make me want to visit NY again and I am NOT a big city girl. When we were there last fall it was fascinating and quite the experience. Thanks for keeping the yearning alive. Love the pictures.

  6. The man-made green in the foreground imitates the green and grown from Nature in the background. Very interesting, and the green of that grass is spectacular.

  7. I meant to say man-made green and brown colors in the foreground mirror the nature-made green and brown. not just the green in the foreground but the green AND the brown. There, that should be clear. I need coffee, lots of it.

  8. Haven't been in the city in ages. So glad to be reminded of places I miss, like Columbus Circle.

  13. If they put a table and chairs in our local park someone would pinch them!

  15. I have noticed in the time I've known you that you have a "thing" for flimsy little chairs and tables made out of steel or plastic...many of which I'd be afraid to sit down on...why is that? ;-)

Just kidding. I like this shot. There's a starkness to the set, but the colors are bright and warm. I could enjoy a coffee, etc. there, I'm sure.

Hope you have a great week!

I heard it was quite wet and cold in NYC. No?

  16. I just love those greens. Particularly the fading surface of the chairs and table set. I'd love that on my patio.

  20. Looks like a nice place to sit and relax.
And, of course, verdigris is one of my favorite "green" colors =)
