I've always thought the fire escapes look wonderful but I would have a fit of the vapours if I had to climb down one!
Yea, they sure make it look easy in the movies to just jump from level to level. Greatly composed shot and neat looking building.
Excellent view Daryl.. I have a local shot as well this week...Janes 'Facebooking' at the moment and I'm blogging... it as got to be the quietest time of the week... now a sound or word between us only the tap tap tapping of keyboards.... ha!All the best and have a great week ahead.Tom Wiggers World
Hey, you mean it not easy to jump form level to level? This is great, I love the color contrast the sky just pops!
Oh, I always love your New York skies and buildings/street views -- not sure I'm ready to jump from level to level though! Enjoy your weekend, Daryl!Sylvia
What a beautiful sky and I love the fire escapes which show as well as the old building showing it's classic lines on the right.
Oh, I sure do like that view. I really enjoy the pattern the lines of the features of the building make. Super shot.
Love that view, Daryl. You almost make me wish I lived in the city...almost. ;-)
I never had a problem with fire escapes. Had to climb off oneinto a window when I was about 12.Your photo is superb. Great colors! Especially the sky.
Incredible perspective of that amazing sky! Brilliant color and light!
Did you post late today or did I get up really early?Love the clarity of the sky!
Now THAT is an October Sky!
Daryl, this is a great perspective on the fire escape and the clouds are beautiful.
So pretty.... I love that building :)
What a gorgeous fall day - I hope you had a good long time outside to enjoy it.

That is some serious blue sky! Haven't seen much of that around here lately.
Escaping to the sky...and what a sky! Just beautiful. I like the fire escapes, too...their color helps set off that glorious blue!
SO New York.Like YOU, Daryl :]Aloha, Sistah!Comfort Spiral
The sky is so, so blue! What a clear day.
Well blue skies over the BIg Apple. Nice..... maybe a good weekend in store? Can't wait to see your pics.V
I love these kind of skies, and really like the urban grit of the building and fire escapes contrasting off them
I love the bay window right next door to the fire escapes, nice contrasts.
Wonderful photo, reminds me of SF. Some cities have great charm! Spirithelpers
the lines of the fire escapes mixed with the round facade are perfect
Looks like it could be San Francisco, especially with that blue sky punctuated by the pure white clouds...
Love the contrasting views and that bright blue sky. Have a lovely weekend! [we have snow meh]
Yes, I was thinking SF too, except that the sun is shining... :-)
I want that bay window!!! (What happened to the blue sky?)
That's funny... your sky looks just as blue as West Texas today, which means someone lied to me. The bluest skies aren't just in Texas, LOL!
Your sky...and mine, Daryl! I do Looking at the Sky on Friday! :)
