Great shot as always, Daryl! Love the glimpse of New York! Reminds me of fun visits there!Have a great weekend!Sylvia
Nice shot and interesting link to the article about the Standard Hotel. The building in my entry for Skywatch isn't while so notorious.
The Sky Line really is such a great idea and can be from this angle just how wonderful it is to bring some more nature into the city.
Great shot - that hotel is definitely notorious! Checked it out on the link you gave.Did you photograph that hotel from a different angle for another post? Maybe not - I think the one I'm thinking of had more concrete.Anyway, good sky!
Lovely blue sky.
Nice piece of sky in that busy shot. I have read that the Whitney is buying land where the High Line starts! Now to the link.
Nice captured Daryl.Enjoy the weekend.
Nice shot! I enjoyed visiting your blog :-)
Nice sky in the busy city.Eaglesbrother
oh my word! for a minute I thought I was reading an article out of the Onion! that can't be true can it Daryl? Does the hotel really have an effect on the Highline?
Nice scene and a great shot! Why do you call it a Notorious Hotel? Is it named that way?- Pixellicious Photos
Daryl, NY is same as CA, traffic is always busy! That a great shot of the hotel and did I see reflections?P.S. The photos were taken at the Huntington Garden near the Shakespeare Gardens.
Wow! Didn't know about that hotel either! Interesting.. no wonder you spend so much time over at High Line... heh.
This is a unique shot!<><
I love the 'high road' line thingy and I am laughing my socks off...just the socks. xo.
It looks so busy to me under that lovely sky! Can you tell I'm a country girl? LOL
Good shot Daryl...Hope the weather is OK there...it sounded as if cbw might have been having trouble with the weather?
Someday I will see The High Line up-close and in person...Why is the hotel "notorious"?
I love the mix of scenery in this. the tall building above it all, and the street scene that's... not.
