  3. Very cool - how did you see it? The sky line over this pattern - very NY.
I like your new header too! I always enjoy to stop here!

  4. It looks a little like a man's pinstripe suit.

  5. I love having to look twice, and then three times at your pictures - they're so intriguing! It's such a classic New York skyline, even when seen only in a shadow's outling.

  14. That's just weird...but I like it. I thought it was a big wooden fence at first.

But, noooo, it's a big concrete fence!

Doing great, Daryl. You remain a creative genius!

  17. OK, so I had to look in Wikipedia because, well, I don't get out much:

"Trompe-l'œil, which can also be spelled without the hyphen in English as trompe l'oeil (French for 'trick the eye') is an art technique involving extremely realistic imagery in order to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects appear in three dimensions, instead of actually being a two-dimensional painting."

Your photo is an incredible example of it.

  19. What an interesting effect!
I was thinking also, as did steviewren, that it looked like a pinstripe suit.

  22. Neat--I thought those were actual buildings, not a shadow. "Fool the eye" indeed! Well done.
