Boo! As in "scared ya" not as in "get off the stage." ;)Great shot.. gotta love shadows.
They can scare you even in day time..... :-O Awesome shot!- Pixellicious Photos
This is creepy. One can imagine that these are long lanky beings with far reaching arms and fingers. lurking and creeping about.Shadows are great and this is a very good one.
I'm pretty sure I see your signature on this one! Love it. :)
Great shot but now I"m having flashbacks to the Wizard of Oz. BEtween the trees and those flying monkeys (never mind the witch), I am pretty much scarred for life.Anyway, good shot for monochrome Monday. Have a great week.
Aw, I liked the witch, CBW!That's amazing how those branches form your name over on the left...a miracle of nature? ;-)
Tis the season, even in The City.
Great! Inky shadows, and look at that perfect circle in one of them. Nice one for Halloween week.
Tis the week to go spooky! love it!
I can imagine these trees walking down the street with their gangly gait. I like it!
Ya know, I spend a lot of time (a lot of time) looking up to see the shots other people might miss, but I frequently forget to look down. Thanks for the pointed reminder. This is awesome!
Perfect for Halloween week!
the contrast is greatI love bare trees, so much expression in their "hands"
Oooow, the trees creaked and moaned, the branches clattered in the wind, screeching your name ... :)
Back at you with "nice snap." :-)Very nice shadow shot...can almost feel those tree limbs moving.
Nice take, Daryl. Is there a black cat up in the branches somewhere?
They are spooky! They look as if they've come from a modern dance performance!
Luverly! Ok , I entered the Monochome gang this week. I like that it doesn't have to be on Monday , right? I can't stay up with daily memes for some reason.V
Trick? Or treat?
A very expressive shot for a shadow - I like it for what it is - an image with movement! Perhaps the Cheshire Cat is up there somewhere.
Methinks these look like aliens reaching out to grab someone and take that person to a far planet where they will do all kinds of weird experiments to determine what makes humans so crazy...Methinks that...Good news on the condo! Yeah!
That's a great shadow shot and it is very spooky.
Another great shot Daryl!
beautiful shadows too! Great shot Daryl.
Great pic! I really like it!
Expecting a big flock of birds at any moment. Where's Alfred when you need him??
That was a shadow...real creepy!
They are spooky shadows. Kind of make me want to race ahead--except that I am sitting on the couch!
Oh, you're right! Spooky looking. Do you ever read Willow's blog? She's got something spooky there today.http://willowmanor.blogspot.com/
I love the long shadows of autumn. There's just something about them that always makes me smile.
creepy but beauty! thanks for sharing! Hope you visit my first entry http://faeriejan.blogspot.com/2009/10/monochrome-entry-1-lady-duck.htmlthanks! have a nice week!
lovely take on the theme!
Boo ti ful!<><
Great shadows - they look like they should be scaring the pants off of Scooby Doo and Shaggy :).
Cooooool! In a "mysterious and ooky" way, of course.
Very spooky and very cool!
As I work my way backwards, I say,"Wow! You are on a Halloween roll." I LOVE this! I love Halloween and love that you're making a week of it.
I never would have thought to use this as a Halloween image, but it is perfect. Makes me think of Boo Radley and To Kill a Mockingbird.
