  4. I hope they were going for "really cute" rather than "big and scary to frighten away intruders". If so, they succeeded marvelously.

  7. Those donkeys are too funny
to be scarey... wonder how the
    pigeons like them...

  8. Okay, they're not exactly pretty, but they are striking! Something like a hammer with ears!

  11. Oh oh oh oh oh!!! I LOVE THIS! It's just "interesting" enough to make me totally baking mad over it.

It kinda reminds me of Donnie Darko, although I hated that movie, and it reminds me, vaguely, of a couple of wrought iron gate-sculptures I saw in Europe.

  13. Person who made these sure was creative and I wonder if he or she knows that they probably make people smile when they see them:) Love little unexpected works of art scattered around our travels.

  15. What a fantastic wrought iron detail. I don't think of wrought iron as whimsical because it's so solid but this wrought iron is whimsical.

  16. Eeeek! And they look so surprised too!

Wonder if it's from watching all the people pass by....

  18. I thought at first they were donkeys, but that didn't seem right - what would be the purpose of donkeys on a building? Then I thought they must be Dobermanns - that would make more sense! But I was wrong!

  20. I can't decide if it's scary or funny. I think I'm slightly more inclined to funny.
