okay, my comments are becoming boring!!!! - but, AGAIN, another fabulous photo!
Evocative - I gather Labour Day marks the turning in a social sense. It is definitely Autumn here, moreso than usual.
Not ready for autumn yet, but that is a great pic. I can see myself, all wrapped up, steaming coffee in hand, sitting out there enjoying the freshness of autumn.
Very moody, I like it. I'm digging my heels in though and refusing to accept that fall is rapidly approaching. If I could I'd keep summer here all year long!
Yes, that FEELS like Ct. As I recall, a bit hilly. We moved to the south shore where it is quite flat and negotiable, and fewer leaves to sweep!
I can see why they love it there. It's chilly this morning here in Maryland. I have my slippers on and a long sleeve shirt!
I love fall! Even without the colors.
It will look like that again very soon.
You really caught the cool winds of August in this one...the looking toward winter...the fact it's not going to get better for some time...the death of a season...it's dismal and dark ... maybe when the snows come it will get better...Super shot!
I long for days such as that...to sit for hours in a sweat shirt and a good cuppa relishing in the beauty of every falling leaf. Just lovely.
Lovely deck...lovely season...lovely photo!Sandi
Nothing says fall like a cabin and leaves. Really nice shot, Daryl!!
you must add this to your collection of note cards, Daryl!!
marvelous perspective and superb composition!
What an inviting deck. I like the leaves scattered there too. Makes me think of taking a seat, wearing a sweater, and drinking hot chocolate (with a dollop of brandy).
Very moody, conveys a bit of sadness, at least to me, end of summer, winter on the horizon. But the good news is that in about 5 months the days will start getting longer again :)
Brr.. it actually looks cold. I'm not willing to relinquish my summer yet!
I think there's a bit of a sad autumnal theme going on here...........cheers
I'm just waiting for the wind to blow.
A nice of showing what we are getting into! :-)
Beautiful shot! Really nice in monochrome!Thanx for your comment at my blog!
A lovely soft tone in your picture. To sit there in the cold autumn with warm clothes and a hot coco...................
oOo...this makes me want to slip into a sweater and old jeans, bring a disc player outside and sit and listen to It's A Beautiful Day or Joni Mitchell or read a good novel. I love this picture, though new porch furniture seems in order. ;-)
Love this shot! I love fall so this is a picture i really enjoy!
That's looks like just the sort of place I'd like to while away time. :)
I love your perspective, makes the leaves so interesting ray is lovely in a pink background
Let's hold off a little before we start thinking of Autumn, and cooler weather and falling leaves.
Beautiful. I love wood ; etc. i was so lucky the other day... my old wicker rocking chair fell apart last summer. As a single mom did not want to buy a new one for my tiny front stoop.. I lucked out with two (2) Bamboo very nicely made chairs.. that fit so nicely.. AND FREE and IN GREAT SHAPE .. (someone elses trash is a gift).. And saved me at least 100.00. There is a lovely weather terra cotta pot I found about 10 years ago too. (another item thrown out). I put the two resin (Plastic) ones in my back yard). Thanks for the photo..
Beautiful angle, well captured!
Hi Daryl, love it I could sit there and just watch as time goes by.TyraMonochrome
I am not ready for the fall yet! But your picture kind of prepared me - it is a beautiful season! I love the leaves on the porch!
It's gonna look that way soon. sigh
What can I say.. it´s a wonderful shot in mono!!! The picture breathe calm./christina
Your picture has that desolate, it's almost winter look to it. Great photo!
It's the sort of place I wish I could go to - with a cup of hot tea, and woolly socks. If autumn were a place, this is what it would look like.
Autumn leaves fell. I enjoy this season the most.
I totally agree with Kitty! What a fabulous photo!
very nice. makes me want to go sit there
Lovely! All that wood, and the fallen leaves - I can almost smell the smoke in the air.
Daryl, you always amaze me. Stunning.
Great shot! I'd love to spend some time on this deck reading a book or watching the scenery and the world go by.
Superb composition :)Thanks for the visit of my monochrome & I'm sorry for any trouble for viewing my site.
GORGEOUS, THE MONOCHROME IS FUNNILY MORE EVOCATIVE THAN THE ACTUAL COLOURS...STUNNING!
Oh, that's just down the road, Daryl! What a great shot. Makes me think of the way I feel the day after Labor Day--which is just a few short hours away. Wonderful photo.
Very nice shot. I think the leaves really add a lot to this picture.
Beautiful, evocative photo!
One of the best yet!
Needless to say~I love it =)
I love the angle you've chosen. The lines in the photo lead us in, and the starkness tells us autumn has come.
Oh, so beautiful! I would love to sit there for a while and let my thoughts fly...Thanks for your visit. =)
Awesome shot! Love the perspective and the soft focus. And B&W is perfect. A home run!
