    I think these are beautiful birds. They have such wonderful colours and their feathers look so soft.

    Too bad they leave so much (poo) behind.

  14. I hate pigeons something chronic, so much so that I've nicknamed them sh!thawks. Despite that, this photo cracked me up. It just seems, to me anyhow, really typical of NYC. I need to stop giggling now. Seriously.

  15. The ubiquitous New York City pigeon. Is it true that they evolved on a high rise in Manhattan and spread out from there?

    We have no pigeons around our house but sometimes morning doves (mourning doves?) who make a lot of racket...

    I hope you like this comment, but it not you can put it in some pigeon hole somewhere. ;-)
