That looks like a REAL ice cream truck, not like these rinky-dinky little things that drive up our street in the summer with watery popsicles. Come to think of it, I don't recall hearing the music playing at all last year.....now I'm worried they're gone. A rinky-dinky truck with popsicles is better than nothing!
lovely! ice cream trucks are just great!... and this one, old school, is just gorgeous... 1st time I saw one was in London, really takes me to the imaginary world of movies. maybe because it's not something children grow with in Portugal, besides seeing it in the movies and hoping they come real :)
I could do without ice cream up until about three years ago - then something happened and it's become one of my favorite things - who knew? hope you and Elizabeth have a fabulous day! - I get to mow the lawn! sneeze sneeze!
Its that wonderful time of year again! Whenever I talk to my daughter in Chicago in the summer, there's the incessant ice cream truck music in the background--yum. p.s. Thanks--I did write the poem after a walk around the lake this a.m.
Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to comment. It is appreciated. Blogger can sometimes be rude but I try hard not to be. I think anyone who leaves a comment deserves a personal reply.
I reply to everyone I can by hitting reply to the comment feed in my email. Unfortunately, sometimes it just comes up noreply-comment@blogger.com.
You can fix that .. go to the comments section of your blog and attach your email to your posts.
