The Aunt passed this morning.
She was 90 years old.

The photo to its right was taken in the same kitchen sometime in the late 1960s.
The photo on the bottom left was taken at her granddaughter's wedding 6 yrs ago
The photo on the bottom right is of her and The Uncle
They were married over 60 yrs, he passed 10 yrs ago
They are together again now, I am sure.

ReplyDeleteThe Aunt is such a lovely, lovely woman, Daryl--now as well as then. I especially love those old 1940s-era pictures. That is my favorite era and I believe I was supposed to be alive then.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry, Daryl. She obviously meant much to you. From her photos I would guess that she had a very happy life. 60 years with her husband is such a blessing. I'm sure they are together now.
