The Aunt

The Aunt passed this morning.

She was 90 years old.



The photo of her in the kitchen up there on the left was taken 2 years ago
The photo to its right was taken in the same kitchen sometime in the late 1960s.
The photo on the bottom left was taken at her granddaughter's wedding 6 yrs ago
The photo on the bottom right is of her and The Uncle
They were married over 60 yrs, he passed 10 yrs ago
They are together again now, I am sure.

  8. It's never easy to lose our lovies no matter how much life they've been lucky enough to live. From the looks of that lower left photo, she certainly knew how to have a good time.

  12. The Aunt is such a lovely, lovely woman, Daryl--now as well as then. I especially love those old 1940s-era pictures. That is my favorite era and I believe I was supposed to be alive then.

  15. I am so sorry, Daryl. She obviously meant much to you. From her photos I would guess that she had a very happy life. 60 years with her husband is such a blessing. I'm sure they are together now.
