thursdays in the hood
I am using Thursdays to highlight various interesting places, to me and hopefully to you, in my neighborhood.
If Russell hadnt posted photos of hollyhokes last week I would have labeled this hibiscus ... silly urban me!
OKAY .. it seems there ARE hibiscus after all ... seriously do I look like a country girl? I am so NOT horticultured. Not.

I took this photo, of whatever these are, just this morning on the way to the bus ... yesterday there were only buds and leaves ... then POUFF ... flowers ... huge, beautiful flowers!
